Supply Chain Officer – Cash Based Transfers (P-2)

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in economics, commerce, business administration, engineering, legal, accounting or related field

  • A minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience with at least 1 year in private sector food retail business, supply chain (planning, sourcing, delivering) and/or banking sector (money transfer). WFP counts internships at 100% if relevant and paid

  • Proficiency in Windows, MS Office - advanced excel (and/or SPSS type software) skills preferred
  • Excellent oral and written English, as well as fluency in another official UN language

  • Strong interest in a career in the United Nations

  • Swiss nationality

  • Not older than 32 years on the date of the first round of interviews

  • A minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience in policies, programmes and/or analysis related to food security, climate change, disaster risk reduction or related area. WFP counts internships at 100% if relevant and paid

  • Proficiency in Windows, MS Office
  • Knowledge or experience in community level participatory approaches and methodologies would be considered an asset
  • Excellent oral and written English, as well as fluency in another official UN language

  • Strong interest in a career in the United Nations

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in the field of evaluation, public policy, the social or physical sciences, business administration

  • At least 3 years of directly relevant experience. WBG counts internships at 100% rate.

  • Understanding the stages of designing and planning an evaluation

  • Understanding of the design and use of a results framework and theory of change

  • Broad knowledge of sustainable development issues

  • Proficiency in Bank data systems (Business Intelligence) and portfolio analysis tools (quantitative and qualitative analysis)

  • Professional experience in a developing country desired

  • Fluent in English

  • Swiss nationality
