Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related subject
  • At least 3 years, of working experience in banking, consulting, financial industry or related industry. WBG counts internships at 100% rate.
  • Experience in working in a commercial, government, or IFI setting
  • Experience in digital financial services or payments an asset
  • Experience with international banks or bilateral/multilateral development institutions an advantage
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of French and/or Spanish an asset
  • Willingness to travel to remote areas
  • Field experience in developing countries an asset
  • Swiss nationality
  • Not older than 32 years at the date of the first round of interviews

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in law with preferably a post-graduate law degree (e.g. LLM) in a second jurisdiction.
  • At least 3 years, of relevant experience as a lawyer, ensuring familiarity with at least one of this area (insolvency and restructuring, access to finance, corporate governance, public procurement, public private partnerships, energy regulation, information and communication technology, and dispute resolution). EBRD counts internships at 100% rate
  • Experience in conducting legal research, drafting and negotiating legal documentation.
  • Excellent project management skills, ability to monitor and follow up on many activities concurrently under time constraints and ability to understand and manage priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and client focus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in an additional language, in particular Russian, French or Arabic, would be an asset.

  • Understanding of global developmental assistance, particularly from multilateral donors
  • Experience in funds management and accounting, including financial management systems
  • Good negotiating and problem-solving skills
  • Good numerical and analytical skills
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in an additional language, in particular Russian, French or Arabic, would be an asset.
